Give it up to China for being the only country I have heard of that actually does something to force people (like me) to go outside. At first I thought that China will have soldiers go to internet Cafe's to force people out, but this way seems mildly better. Besides, they are forced to go through the toughest terrain slogging 12 hours or more, and thats just the gamers.
What this adresses is a problem that even I have experienced: Internet Addiction. We need it for everything right now, and we don't have a high enough technology that we can physically live off it yet.
My thoughts on the issue are two things:
One: They are picking on WOW too much
Two: They are not picking on other users.
Thats not such a bad thing, especially for me. I don't just use the computer for games, or porn (although I do it too much). I also use the internet for:
studying online
electronically assigned projects
Keeping in touch with my friends
Finding out important events and dates (love Face Book)
and Discussing Issues LIKE THIS.
I have to give credit to: this very addicting site for preventing me from doing my homework and bringing up this topic to me. Lets see here, did I spend 10hrs on the net today?

An Unusual Post
It has been a long time since I posted on this Blog, so I think I will start again.
My past 2 posts have been made for my Biology class in a blog called Evolution and Diversity.
I would like to point everyone to my favorite website on the internet, and yes there is one.
This page has everything you could possible want to know about anything.
Try reading it for a couple of hours... or months.
Takes a while to load though.

An Aspie Like me
This is a speech I will deliver later today.
There are brilliant people such as John Nash, Isaac Newton or Albert Einstein who performed outstandingly in math, yet do not perform as well in social situations.
Yet as Albert Einstein said, “The difference between genius and insanity is their level of success.”
It is difficult to define what is normal and abnormal behavior in our society.
In the past people like me were called geeks or nerds but now we are known as aspies or people with Asperger’s syndrome.
Asperger Syndrome (Asperger's Disorder) is a neurobiological disorder named after an Austrian physician, Hans Asperger.
Aspergers syndrome had not been diagnosed in North America until the 1980s because Hans Asperger’s paper was not translated to English until the 1970s. Also Asperger Syndrome was only added to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Ver. 4 (DSM IV) until 1994.
In 1944 Hans Asperger published a paper which described a pattern of behaviors in several young boys who had normal intelligence and language development.
These young boys also exhibited autistic-like behaviors and marked deficiencies in social and communication skills.
Aspergers syndrome is also known as Pervasive Developmental Disorder or PDD.
“Although it has often been considered to be a disorder, it would be better to describe it as a personality style because of the fact that the people who have it tend to be social loners.”
I was diagnosed at 10 years old in 1996.
The signs of Aspergers are:
Difficulty making friends
Difficulty reading or communicating through nonverbal social cues, such as facial expressions. (For example, I cannot glare)
No understanding that others may have thoughts or feelings different from his or her own
Overly sensitive to sounds, tastes, smells, and sights.
The person with AS may prefer soft clothing, certain foods, and be bothered by sounds or lights no one else seems to hear or see.
Obsessive focus on a narrow interest
Awkward motor skills
Inflexibility about routines especially when changes occur spontaneously
Loud, monotonous, or mechanical speech.
This syndrome affect me since I can hear water dripping in the opposite room yet I cannot hear a loud boring lecture from someone beside me.
My selective hearing has really helped me in some tough places.
I get irritated when people come up to talk to me when I am doing something important, (stare at a wall), such as staring at a wall.
I have to constantly repeat myself. Why can’t everyone learn my language?
I sit by myself because no one else cares what ever I do.
I don’t care what anyone else does, so I guess were even.
The main difference between me and other people with the same disorder is that I have a higher tolerance for peoples behaviour. I love talking to everyone, it is my obsessive focus. Let me stay up on stage for another 2 minutes.
When I was 5 years old, my kinder garden teacher called me a very busy boy.
I would spend my time doing everything from making a life size x-wing fighter out of cardboard blocks, to repeatedly drawing Spiderman and Batman.
However, when an emergency car went screaming by, I was the first to go to the window.
These distractions can be a dreadful problem for other people with the same disorder because they become a target of bullying.
I manage to thwart the bullies verbal abuse by, not hearing insults, forgetting everything insulting people say, and being very forgiving.
I refused to be a victim.
It is far better to be true to your gifts then follow someone else into the mud.
For me, I tend to laugh at myself so often, I love the quirkiness of my disorder.
I would rather die, than change my aspie personality.

Communism Capitalism and P2P
I will begin this blog with a criticism of a thread that I previously made at www.wrongplanet.net
Communism and socialism won't work because there is no emphasis on more production. Capitalism has a hierarchical structure but, at least people are rewarded for higher effort. The only thing I don't like is when people are rich for doing absolutely nothing at the expense of the under-poverished (Sweat shops). That is stealing from the poor and giving to the rich.
I still basically agree with this paragraph today. In fact, I believe sweatshops are against capitalist ideology. If workers are paid properly then the companies can make large gains from the workers buying products. Aggregate demand goes down when the impoverished become slaves. As sweatshops increase in number, the companies lose profit because people don't have as much money to spend on their products.
With communism, though, people have to have a like-minded goal or be forced against their will to achieve that goal. I prefer a balance between socialism and complete capitalism.
Never assume that only one class of people are being affected by a bad economy or bad organization. A lot of people are being oppressed by the Bush regime including the higher classes. The investors who used to be rich are now getting kicked out of the decision making process in most companies.
Oppressing the little guy is one thing, but oppressing the middle and lower classes throws his list of allies out of proportion. If people can understand what is going on then they too will be against this. It's like the super rich get to decide things that the rich don't. Not that it matters, they have money. It is only a matter of time until things start changing around. Even the Republican party itself might be more accepting (maybe).
The only big ally that the administration can rely on is faith. Will that be enough?
It is not to say that Marx's communist manifesto did nothing but harm. Unions and workers rights have come out of the darkest areas of the Industrial Revolution. The standard of living has gone up and health and education reborn into all the nations that were capitalist? So all the nations that had the most liberty and freedom are capitalist.
It makes me wonder if anything was ever communist. The closest nation to Marxism and Communism was the Iroquois. As I said earlier, I like a balance between the two freedoms: freedom to and freedom from.
The only socialist like group that works is P2P networks.
There are others which I will display later but yes, this one works.
The reason is because everyone likes Shareware, unless they are losing money.
I think more then 30 million people in US use shareware, possibly even 75 million.
There is no way this can be stealing. The closest that shareware programs can be is plagerizing. And when people are sharing music, they are not claiming the music to be their own. P2P networks are like walking into the Louvre and copying the Mona Lisa on a piece of parchment and having it hanging on mantelpiece. The individual (Mary) did not buy a copy. The painting is still being viewed by millions of people but Mary has one on her shelf.
How can the RIAA charge Mary with stealing if the owner still has the painting?
I wonder what the FBI would say about shareware programs (maybe a few of you can answer)
I also hear that artists deserve to get paid for their work. I completely agree, but the ones who need money the most agree with P2P because it promotes their group and since the group doesn't make that much from albums, selling tickets for a concert is a big part of their income. The most popular bands worldwide are also most popular because of P2P.
How about if people can download a sample of everything for free, and the premium stuff for money?
Their are full versions of the free songs and their are samples of the premium stuff like AMG.
I hope you like my first post. If you don't like politics, well I will make up with it by talking about Aspergers next one.
